Engagement Photos

Posted on

Anthony and I had our friend Brandon take our engagement photos last month. We chose two different locations, the U Street Corridor by Ben’s Chili Bowl, and also the National Gallery of Art. Can you guess who chose what? I had considered not doing engagement photos at all. Sometimes they are cheesy, and what do you do with all those picture? But I reconsidered when I read that it will make for better pictures on the wedding day. It truly was a practice of having a lens focused at you at all times, and still try to act natural, but also remember to stand up straight. I think the best pictures were when we weren’t worried and having fun (see the movable walk way in the light tunnel picture below where we are just riding along!). Brandon posted a bunch on his blog, and I am going to post more. I hope you enjoy!
